DJ FREDDIE LUX - BIOGRAPHY

Having successfully completed Lvov music conservatory, Freddy Lux has had a keen ear to quality music since an early age. His first exposure to electronic music was already in the U.S. in Detroit during the early nineties after being fascinated by innovative at that time beats by techno legends Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. There was something in those beats, addicting and mesmerizing and that has changed Freddie’s music taste forever.

Freddie Lux started his DJ career in 1998 working for one of the biggest DJ companies in Detroit. Having gone through a DJ boot-camp training, Freddie was ready to show off his skills at various clubs throughout metro area. In the next three years, he held residencies at Woody's, Crazy Moe’s and Tonic. In 2001 Freddie met with Jenny La Femme and since then they’ve partnered to deliver some of the hottest Russian/Euro events in Detroit. With residencies at iLounge and Eden in Detroit, Freddie frequently makes guest appearances in Chicago, New York and Miami.

Freddie’s current style is influenced by U.K. underground and ranges from electrifying Euro progressive to smooth, deep and sexy vocal House beats. Through his unique ability to blend Euro style with mainstream, Freddie Lux has been instrumental in introducing some of the best Euro artists to the American public. As a DJ, no one can question Freddie's versatility; from exhilarating vocals to hard progressive beats, he intuitively works a room with his creative mixing and programming style, playing music for the masses, as well as the most discriminating audiences.
